Peppa pig said it better than any of us ever could. “hello to the future…”
I am an experienced digital creative director making, creating and developing thought-provoking and interesting content that demands to be watched/interacted/shared.
During this time I’ve been lucky enough to work with some of the best household names, brands, and storytellers. I put digital at the heart of stories – creating born digital content. I think big.
I am idea led which has allowed (and demanded) me to work across platforms making and R&Ding physical and digital experiences. I am interested in attention. I’ve been developing new technologies and processes that explore new storytelling opportunities.
Drawn to AR and now delving into VR.
During the last 20years I’ve created an amazing varied set of work. From recently directing and producing an Agatha Christie adaption to award winning advertising campaigns. I’ve worked with the poet laureate, Andrew Motion, on the Poetry Archive, who kindly called me an ‘inspiration’. I’ve run across a football pitch naked for Playstation. I have won multiple awards, talk regularly at conferences, and must be in a rare group having been a Bafta judge in both Games and TV.
I have been Creative Director at Good Technology, one of London’s most critically acclaimed digital agencies where I directed projects for a range of clients including Playstation, FT.com and Audi. Prior to that, I founded Incline Media, an innovative and award winning online agency which we sold to WPP plc in 2005. There I headed teams working for brands such as Playstation, Canon, Ladbrokes and Nationwide on their online digital strategy, advertising and content development.
I was lead designer at Syzygy, working with Pepsi and Cartoon Network. I built my first website in 1994.
I was also Creator, Producer and Writer of the satirical animation ‘Wembley Park’ which was commissioned by E4/C4. An animated short, which I wrote and animated, gained an amazing 20million online views. I founded and raised over £250,000 for a sports gaming start up, Predicta.
I crowdfunded Nightvision a project I produced, co-wrote and directed. The London Film Review made the project the 7th best indie film of the year, even though it was an interactive story!
I am a designer by training.
I am looking for opportunities that allow me to work in the future… join me.
